Mumbai welcomed the world of fine watchmaking as the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG) 2026 World Tour arrived in India from September 28 to October 1 at The St. Regis Mumbai. Often regarded as one of the most prestigious celebrations in watchmaking, the exhibition brought together collectors, industry leaders and enthusiasts to experience some of the year's most remarkable timepieces.

The showcase featured 84 nominated watches across 14 categories, representing the creativity of more than 50 international brands. From intricate dials and sculptural silhouettes to exceptional mechanical engineering, each timepiece reflected a distinct approach to craftsmanship, innovation and design. The exhibition also welcomed prominent figures from the watchmaking community.

Beyond the individual creations, the Mumbai showcase highlighted India's growing place in the global luxury landscape. Bringing these exceptional watches to Indian audiences offered an opportunity to engage more closely with the artistry and technical expertise shaping contemporary horology.

Across the four days, we had the opportunity to experience this world of precision and craftsmanship up close, capturing the intricate details and atmosphere of an exhibition where every timepiece had a story of its own.
